A vulnerability was found in Apple QuickTime up to 7.1.5 (Multimedia Player Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown function of the component JDirect Loader. The JDirect support in QuickTime for Java in Apple Quicktime before 7.2 exposes certain dangerous interfaces, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted Java applets.
