A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Adobe Flash Player up to 9.0.115.0 (Multimedia Player Software). Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality. Adobe Flash Player 9.x up to 9.0.48.0, 8.x up to 8.0.35.0, and 7.x up to 7.0.70.0, when running on Linux, uses insecure permissions for memory, which might allow local users to gain privileges.

The bug was discovered 12/18/2007. The weakness was published 12/27/2007 by Toshiharu Sugiyama with Opera (Website). The advisory is available at adobe.com.
