Integer overflow in Mozilla Thunderbird before 1.5.0.10 and SeaMonkey before 1.0.8 allows remote attackers to trigger a buffer overflow and possibly execute arbitrary code via a text/enhanced or text/richtext e-mail message with an extremely long line.

The bug was discovered 03/05/2007. The weakness was presented 03/01/2007 by Georgi Guninski (Website). The advisory is available at redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2007-1282 since 03/05/2007. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
