Buffer overflow in natd in network_cmds in Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 through 10.4.9, when Internet Sharing is enabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via malformed RTSP packets.
The bug was discovered 04/17/2007. The weakness was published 04/19/2007 by Landon Fuller with Mu Security research team (Website). The advisory is available at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2007-0741 since 02/05/2007. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
