A vulnerability was found in Samba up to 4.1.8 (File Transfer Software). It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function push_ascii of the component smbd Service. The manipulation as part of a Unicode Path Name leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119.
