A vulnerability has been found in Google Chrome 17.0.963.46 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. The weakness was disclosed 02/15/2012 by Mateusz Jurczyk as 111575 (Website). The advisory is shared at code.google.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-3020 since 08/09/2011. Upgrading to version 17.0.963.56 eliminates this vulnerability. The upgrade is hosted for download at chrome.google.com. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at src.chromium.org. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
