The weakness was released 03/15/2012 by Ben Williams with NGS Secure Research (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at kc.mcafee.com. The public release was coordinated with McAfee. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-4580 since 08/22/2012. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.
