A vulnerability was found in Apple QuickTime up to 7.7.1 (Multimedia Player Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the file QuickTime.qts. The weakness was presented 05/15/2012 by Tielei Wang (CHkr_D591) with Secunia as APPLE-SA-2012-05-15-1 as confirmed knowledge base article (Website). The advisory is shared for download at lists.apple.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-0265 since 12/30/2011.
