A vulnerability was found in Moodle up to 1.9.11 (Learning Management Software). It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing in the library lib/weblib.php. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in lib/weblib.php in Moodle 1.9.x before 1.9.12 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via vectors related to URL encoding.
The weakness was presented 07/16/2012 as MDL-26966 improve self URL validation as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at git.moodle.org.
