The Print Spooler in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and R2 SP1 and Windows 7 Gold and SP1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted print job, aka "Windows Print Spooler Components Vulnerability."
The weakness was presented 01/08/2013 with Microsoft as MS13-001 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared for download at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-0011 since 11/27/2012. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
