Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in SonicWALL Scrutinizer 9.5.2 (Firewall Software). This affects an unknown code of the file fa_web.cgi of the component gadget listing. The manipulation of the argument orderby gadget with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was published 02/13/2013 with vulneVulnerability Laboratory Research Team as File 120252/Son (Packetstorm). The advisory is shared at packetstormsecurity.com.
