Google Chrome before 25.0.1364.97 on Windows and Linux, and before 25.0.1364.99 on Mac OS X, does not properly manage memory during message handling for plug-ins, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
The weakness was released 02/21/2013 by Cris Neckar (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security as 166708 as confirmed posting (Website). The advisory is available at code.google.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-0896 since 01/07/2013. The exploitability is told to be easy.
