A vulnerability was found in Dell iDRAC7 and iDRAC8. It has been rated as very critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the component Repository Update. Dell Integrated Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) 7/8 before 2.21.21.21 has XXE.
The weakness was disclosed 12/02/2015 with Google as Dell iDRAC Response as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at en.community.dell.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with Dell. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-7273 since 09/18/2015. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
