Use-after-free vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 through 10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web site that triggers access to a deleted object, aka "Internet Explorer CMarkupBehaviorContext Use After Free Vulnerability."
The weakness was released 03/12/2013 with Zero Day Initiative as MS13-021 as confirmed bulletin (Microsoft Technet). The advisory is shared for download at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-0089 since 11/27/2012. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 65210 (MS13-021: Security Update for Internet Explorer (2809289)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
