The weakness was shared 12/08/2015 by Lufeng Li with Qihoo 360 as HT205637 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-7042 since 09/16/2015. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack needs to be approached locally. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1499. The advisory points out:
