The weakness was published 12/08/2015 by Tarjei Mandt as HT205637 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-7043 since 09/16/2015. The exploitation is known to be difficult. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
