A vulnerability has been found in FFmpeg (Multimedia Processing Software) (affected version not known) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects the function decode_frame_common of the file libavcodec/pngdec.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a out-of-bounds write vulnerability. FFmpeg before 2017-02-04 has an out-of-bounds write caused by a heap-based buffer overflow related to the decode_frame_common function in libavcodec/pngdec.c.
