Bugzilla 2.x before 2.22.7, 3.0 before 3.0.7, 3.2 before 3.2.1, and 3.3 before 3.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) and related attacks by uploading HTML and JavaScript attachments that are rendered by web browsers.

The bug was discovered 02/02/2009. The weakness was disclosed 02/09/2009 by Max Kanat-Alexander with Mozilla Corporation (Website). The advisory is available at redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2009-0481 since 02/09/2009. The attack may be launched remotely. The successful exploitation requires a simple authentication.
