In Wireshark 2.2.0 to 2.2.7 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.13, the MQ dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-mq.c by validating the fragment length before a reassembly attempt.
The bug was discovered 07/18/2017. The weakness was disclosed 07/18/2017 as Bug 13792 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugs.wireshark.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2017-11407 since 07/17/2017. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
