A vulnerability was found in FFmpeg 2.0.1 (Multimedia Processing Software). It has been classified as critical. This affects the function g2m_init_buffers of the file libavcodec/g2meet.c of the component Array Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The weakness was published 09/15/2013 by Piotr Bandurski (ami_stuff) as avcodec/g2meet: Fix order of align and pixel size multiplication. as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository).
