The weakness was disclosed 06/02/2006 by Jonas Sicking (moz_bug_r_a4) with Mozilla as MFSA2006-35 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-2775 since 06/02/2006. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
