The advisory is shared at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with Google. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-2855 since 05/19/2012. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
