A vulnerability was found in Artifex Ghostscript 9.20 (Document Processing Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function mem_get_bits_rectangle of the file base/gdevmem.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. The mem_get_bits_rectangle function in base/gdevmem.c in Artifex Software, Inc. Ghostscript 9.20 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted file.
