nsHTMLContentSink.cpp in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 1.x before 1.5 and 1.0.x before 1.0.8, Mozilla Suite before 1.7.13, and SeaMonkey before 1.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors involving a "particular sequence of HTML tags" that leads to memory corruption.
The weakness was shared 04/13/2006 by Igor Bukanov (TippingPoint) with TippingPoint and the Zero Day Initiative as MFSA2006-10 as not defined advisory (Website). The advisory is available at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-0749 since 02/17/2006. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
