The weakness was presented 05/15/2012 by Tom Gallagher and Paul Bates (CHkr_D591) with Microsoft Vulnerability Research as APPLE-SA-2012-05-15-1 as confirmed knowledge base article (Website). The advisory is available at lists.apple.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-0670 since 01/12/2012.
