A vulnerability was found in Adobe Flash Player up to 11.3.300.271 (Multimedia Player Software). It has been classified as very critical. Affected is the function copyRawDataTo of the file Matrix3D. Integer overflow in the copyRawDataTo method in the Matrix3D class in Adobe Flash Player before 11.4.402.265 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via malformed arguments.
The bug was discovered 01/25/2012. The weakness was presented 09/11/2012 by Nicolas Joly with VUPEN Security as File 116435/Ado as confirmed posting (Website). The advisory is available at packetstormsecurity.org. The vendor was not involved in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-5054 since 09/21/2012.
