Unspecified vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 1.x before 1.5.0.2 and 1.0.x before 1.0.8, Mozilla Suite before 1.7.13, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors related to the crypto.generateCRMFRequest method.

The weakness was presented 04/13/2006 by Georgi Guninski (shutdown) with TippingPoint and the Zero Day Initiative as RHSA-2006:0328 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-1728 since 04/12/2006. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
